About John

John is an author, speaker, guide, and life coach.

John, the eldest of three boys, was born and raised in Wales, a country in southwest Great Britain. His early years were filled with challenges due to John’s alcoholic father leaving his mother to raise John and his two brothers on welfare before John was even 7 years old. A sensitive and kindhearted child, John was thrust into the role of “caretaker” and eventually developed into a responsible and driven teen. In addition to school, John often juggled at least three jobs at a time to provide for his mother and brothers.

At the age of sixteen, John boldly abandoned his education and set off to make his mark in the world, hotly pursuing business success! Throughout the next decade, John went on to accomplish much in his professional and personal worlds. His fierce will and determination, coupled with an innate entrepreneurial streak allowed John to move from a COO of ACS to a CEO and majority shareholder of his own business, Lightbridge Support Services. Around this time was when John also embarked on his journey into parenthood, soon becoming the father of five sons.

During this time of sustained business success and with a growing family to provide for, John endured an emotional crisis that sparked his spiritual awakening. Finding his life filled with everything he could ask for, John still felt empty. With practice, determination, and a belief in something greater than himself, John began to study “the meaning of life” through meditation and a variety of spiritual practices, slowly walking himself back from “the edge.”

Life continued to present John with obstacles, at times, some more devastating than he had ever experienced before. Yet, the techniques and strategies that John developed for moving through these hard times, have kept him connected to a sense of profound gratitude, understanding, and empathy for life and other people.

John now wishes to share the wisdom and skills he has learned in practical and meaningful ways to help others on their journeys. To those who are desiring and ready to put time, effort, and energy toward bettering their lives, John stands ready to help. Through writing, coaching, content creation, and spiritual education he hopes to empower all people on an individual basis while simultaneously helping to raise the level of consciousness on the planet.
